Diploma in Electronic Media (EMD)

We have grown up watching TV and listening to Radio. Now you can think of making it as your career. At young age every person has basic qualities to entre into his dream career. What is required is Guidance, Training and encouragement to develop those qualities into fine professional. That is what we do in Diploma in Electronic Media. Here you spend lot of hours in front of Camera and with microphone, to fine tune your self into VJ and RJ. In this course you get required knowledge of language, theoretical knowledge of Electronic Media and practical on presentation skill. These all will give you great confidence to handle every challenge of this career. Part time nature of this course will allow you to stay in present job or continue on your studies at college.

Scope:

You can work as a Video Jockey (VJ), Radio Jockey (RJ), TV Presenter, Assistant in TV Channel and TV Production House.

Eligibility:

12th Pass

Timing:

8.00 am to 10.00 am (part time).
5 days in a week.
3 days theory and 2 days Practical.


Examination Pattern

Group A – Internal Examinations
Programme is divided into two semesters, and there will be an examination at the end of each semester. Also there will be examination at the end of every month as a one paper covering all subjects and topics of theory and practical covered during that month of study. Marks of these internal examinations will be notified on final marksheet.

Internal examinations as monthly tests will be held at the end of August, September, October, November, January, February and March.

Students must appear for any 5 theory papers.

To qualify for Diploma student must secure 35% marks in individual subject and 40% aggregate. He/She must attend 80% of the theory and practical classes. And submission of all assignments are compulsory.
